Editing - Soundtrack

We used the soundtrack from the famous advert 'Thirteen' and edited it using Final cut Pro and Soundtrack Pro.Soundtrack Pro is a efficient and easy software to use, which allowed us to change the pitch, bass and volume of the soundtrack, as well as the overall length.
As the soundtrack chosen was 13 minutes long therefore we cut it down to 2 minutes in total, including the main climaxes , to help create tension and to link to the eerie theme and our genre , Supernatural Horror.The sound clip could then be copied or dragged across to final cut express and was edited to flow with our footage, we later added transactions, fade in and out .
