Production - Makeup & Hair - Protagonist

As Mise En Scene is a critical part of our film, making make-up and hair is an important part.Due to this, before filming, Holly and myself came up with several ideas on how we wanted the protagonist/victim to be portrayed. We decided that we wanted to the protagonist to look flush and hot , to show the victim has been running. We experimented with different makeup to establish what made this the most realist.

Makeup

To make to effect of the protagonist running , we used blusher to enhance the cheeks, making them appeal rosy and flushed. The other makeup used on the protagonist's face is very neutral, as we wanted to make the female actor seem natural, with minimal makeup.

Hair

Next we thought about the protagonist's hair, again we wanted it do be very natural and stereotypical to girl of her age, therefore we decided to tie our protagonist's hair up, ensuring it appeared raw and natural, with curls descending from the tie.
